Wandered up to the Big Savage Tunnel. Still no word from Somerset County Recreation and Trails Association on when it will open for the season. Last year they announced the March 28 opening on February 29.

Passed 15 or 20 bikers on the trail between Frostburg and the tunnel and another 10 or more dog walkers and joggers.
Temperatures up into the mid-60s F. but still no hint of vegetation. The Spring Equinox is only nine days away!
